The Uchchaith entrance pictured here

The photograph shows Machh Dwar at Uchchaith Bhagwati Sthan in Benipatti. Madhubani district identifies Uchaitha with a Bhagwati temple beside the Thumne River. This provides a named Goddess site within Mithila.

Mithila is a cultural region rather than a single temple address. The photograph does not establish that every Peetha list refers to Uchchaith, nor does it make the pictured entrance a view of Janakpur. Those identifications need to be compared separately.
