Sources and distinctions
We distinguish sacred narrative, historical evidence, interpretation and current practical information. Sources for further reading appear with articles. A traditional account is not presented as a scientific finding, and an analogy with modern science is not proof of ancient discovery. Uncertain dates or local identifications should be described with appropriate limits.
Authorship and AI assistance
Articles may be drafted or edited with AI assistance. We do not label this material as an eyewitness human account or claim that a named expert reviewed it when that did not happen. The publisher label identifies the website. Human publication review and local fact checks remain important, especially for travel and health-related material.
Image selection
Images should match the subject and carry accurate captions. Historical artwork, a manuscript, a regional landscape and a photograph of a particular temple should be identified accordingly. We retain source and licence information for the new editorial image collection. We do not use one unrelated temple as a universal missing-image replacement.
Updates and corrections
Readers can report an issue through the Contact page. Please give the page URL, the point concerned and a source. Substantive edits update the article’s modified date. Changing a date alone is not a substitute for reviewing content. Current arrangements should always be confirmed with the responsible organisation before a journey.
Advertising and independence
Advertising, if introduced, should be clearly distinguishable from navigation and editorial content. We do not promise AdSense approval or a particular outcome from reading an article, visiting a temple or purchasing a service. Sponsored content and relevant commercial relationships should be disclosed where they occur.
Contributions
